The group is looking for a Group Finance Operations Manager to strengthen the Finance Team in partnering with all areas of the business to maximise all growth opportunities.

The Management Team is focussed on the continued expansion of the group and positioning the Group as the leading niche travel operator. It is imperative the Group Finance Operations Manager is comfortable working in a very fast paced environment, and delivering accurate and effective information to tight deadlines.


The Role – Group Finance Operations Manager
The Group Finance Operations Manager will be a key member of the Finance team, reporting into the Group Finance Director. The position will have responsibility for the Accounts Payable and Treasury teams. Working Capital Management will be a critical element of the position. The role will have high visibility across all areas of the Group, and will involve establishing excellent working relationship with Senior Managers.


Detailed responsibilities include:
? Providing support to the Group Financial Director on operational and financial matters
? Management of the Accounts Payable and Treasury functions
? Management of Working Capital liquidity requirements
? Analysis of cash position and preparation of robust cash flow budgets/forecasts
? Produce high quality & detailed variance analysis reports in relation to cash flow
? Support foreign exchange hedging and analysis requirements
? Embedding robust processes, controls and systems within cash management
? Review of creditors and payment runs to ensure appropriate timing of payments
? Working with commercial teams, credit control and suppliers to improve credit terms and timing of cash receipts
? Liaising with all departments on all finance operations matters
? Provide detailed financial & operational reports
? Evaluate current reporting/processes and enhance to create timely, accurate and relevant
reports that are deemed as best practice
? Assisting in developing accounting systems, improving financial information processes, and
leveraging efficiencies from technology
? Manage the demands of key stakeholders within the business and develop strong
relationships


Candidate Background Candidates should have / be
? A professional accountancy qualification (ACCA/CIMA)
? Extensive cash management and forecasting experience, ideally multi–currency
? Intermediate to Advanced Excel user (pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs etc.)
? Ability to understand the interrelationships between data across systems
? Ability to extract and analyse multiple sources and large volumes of data
? Demonstrable track record of controlling costs and identifying cost savings
? Foreign currency accounting experience
? Experience working in a fast paced, high growth and high transaction volume environment
? Experience managing a team
? Strong people management skills
? It is vital you have the gravitas and confidence to explain complex financial information to
senior management
? Private equity experience would be an advantage
