Job Summary:

The Site Auditor (Site Surveyor) Supervisor will be responsible for directing the Site Audit work flow as well as personnel in order to ensure efficiency and accuracy of projects. Site Audit Supervisor will manager Site Auditors who perform site audits to obtain and communicate the necessary technical data to the sales & design team for the preparation of project scope information needed to adequately propose a solar system design, as well as provide permit ready documents needed to facilitate the installation of solar systems.

Job Duties/ Responsibilities

  • Working with new deal stage to route and schedule site auditors
  • Gathering all necessary information and pictures for each project
  • Prepare and upload site audit documents into Podio to coordinate with the design/engineering department to produce permit–ready documents
  • Determining possible main service panel upgrades
  • Determining possible needed roof work
  • Identifying any possible obstacles job may encounter ahead of time
  • Preparing site audit layout/shade reports/Sunrun true ups
  • Occasionally create detailed rooftop map layout for solar arrays including roof layout dimensions and all roof penetrations (pipes, vents etc.)
  • Collect detailed shading data using a Solmetric Sun Eye from Site Auditors
  • Develop a positive relationship with customers to establish rapport and to gather facilities assessment data as well as handle all customer escalations
  • Provide and maintain a current driver's license and a clean driving record to safely operate a company vehicle
  • Develop relationships with sales team, design professionals and subcontractors to support the business activities

Qualification Requirements

  • A minimum of three (1 –2) years' experience in a discipline related to construction or building sciences; estimating or site auditing experience
  • Solar installation experience is preferred
  • High School or Trade School degree in a discipline related to construction or building sciences, engineering or architecture is preferred
  • Ability to understand, read, and comprehends contract documents, plans and specifications
  • Ability to stay organized and maintains project records
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
  • Must be a team player
  • Must work well unsupervised and be self–motivated
  • Strong good computer skills
