Investment Analyst/Associate - Venture Capital

Our client is a well renowned alternative asset investment manager with a presence across Australia, Asia and the US. As a specialist investment manager, they cover a wide range of investing across private equity, venture capital, real estate, real assets and hedge funds. They are a dynamic and multi-faceted business investing across many sectors and verticals and now have an enviable track record in the often complex world of start-ups, entrepreneurship and venture capital. The business at large is entering an exciting stage of growth due, in part, to an injection of funds into their venture capital arm.
They are now seeking an Investment Analyst and an Investment Associate to join their team. The roles will be based in Adelaide but you will work on transactions and with portfolio businesses across Australia.
Investment Analyst:
Working alongside the Fund leaders, the Investment Analyst will have 2 - 3 years of experience gained in investment banking, private equity, venture capital or management consulting. You will have a passion for venture capital and will possess excellent financial modelling, analytical and quantitative skills.
Investment Associate:
The Investment Associate will have 3 - 5 years of experience gained in investment banking, private equity, venture capital or management consulting. You will have some experience with and a passion for venture capital and will possess strong analytical and transaction execution skills.
Candidates for both the Analyst and Associate roles will be tertiary qualified in Finance, Commerce, Law or Business with a demonstrated understanding and passion for private equity and venture capital. Strong technical, interpersonal and communication skills are mandatory.
