VP, Operational Risk

You will contribute to the Operational Risk Governance by conducting KSP checks that are executed in accordance with Head Office and local guidelines. Where there are deviations to those guidelines, you will ensure that they are appropriately approved and documented. You will apply the KSP methodology and complete the planning/ results template. You will set a timeframe for the completion of KSP (end-to-end) and formalize the methodology with the Team Head. You will ensure that test results are well supported and also timely communication, escalation, test results are disseminated to the various parties involved. You will update the Relationship Manager scoreboard and the related Head Office reporting. You will be responsible for tracking changes for updates and will review with the Team Head on coversheet/ KSP scope/ test steps. You will supervise the fellow controller to ensure the timely completion of KSP reviews with quality documentation and close monitoring of the control plan. You will manage the audit deliverables and participate in project activities.

Pre-requisites:

• Good university degree
• At least 5 - 7 years of related work experience in banking; preferably within private banking
• Possess a keen awareness of operational risk issues within private banking
• Able to work independently, as well as part of a team
• Proactive and a meticulous personality
