~~Key responsibilities:
Engagement Leadership & Coaching:
• Responsible for the delivery of process workstream(s) supporting the Process Workstream Lead
• Coaching new mindsets and behaviours
• Leading team management/daily huddles
• Potentially responsible for line management of between 4 and 8 direct reports
• Mentoring regional resources in technical and soft skill proficiency
Project Management:
• Helps the process team resources progress through the delivery project lifecycle in support of agreed scope & objectives
• Accountable for the delivery of process workstream deliverables within the project plan and costs
• Clear planning and execution of improvement actions in a condensed timeframe and challenge environment
• Works to progress the delivery of the project lifecycle in support of agreed scope & objectives
• Manage the project progression on a day-to-day and mitigating issues/risks
Stakeholder Management:
• Raise awareness of the change and getting buy in from stakeholders
• Be able to influence key stakeholders
You will have:
Essential:
• Good verbal and written communications skills across all levels (including good presentation preparation and delivery skills)
• Experience using the 5D/DEMAIC LEAN and other associated project methodologies
• Experience of facilitating and leading workshops and working groups
Preferred:
• Banking subject matter expertise in one or more of: Derivatives, Equities, Rates, Credit, FX, Commodities
• Project management qualification
• Degree education (preferably in a subject related to: Finance, Business, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering or Computer Science )
• Consultancy experience
You will be:
• A proven Lean engineer with Project management and process engineering experience
• An excellent problem-solver skills and root cause analysis
• Able to identify and structure issues, run accurate analyses and synthesize recommendations,
• A good team player, who knows how to build his/her own network
• Able to challenge the current operating environment
• Willing to spend time on the floor with the teams doing the work
• Good with people - able to listen, handle and resolve team tensions and influence decision making
• Visionary, able to design appealing visions of the future/ thinking out of the box
• Never satisfied with current performance/searching for perfection/attracted by tough challenges
• Risk-friendly, able to take a decision quickly without mastering all parameters
• Doing everything possible to get things done on time
• Able to work with limited direction
