Tax and regulatory issues are on top of the mind for many companies operating around the world today. As a tax professional, you'll help organisations and individuals to maximise their tax efficiency and manage their tax risks. You'll achieve this through the advice you give to your clients on conducting proper tax planning, and helping them to fully meet their tax compliance obligations.

Taxation in a fast-paced business environment is exciting and intellectually stimulating. To meet the challenges, you'll need to constantly develop your tax knowledge and research skills. As you progress, you'll likely become specialised in certain specific areas of tax and/or industry segments.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire Tax Technology portfolio in south China and HK
• Manage project scope/approach, resources, cost, timeline in driving project delivery to success
• Maintain good relationship with clients, internal stakeholders, internal IT, vendors, etc.
• Report to management project progress, cost, risks, issues and dependencies
• Responsible for promoting/selling of Tax technology solutions
• Responsible for product comparisons/evaluations and preparation of business cases
• Build, manage and coach a team of business analysts, consultants and IT specialists

Requirements

• University degree in Business, Tax/Accounting, Computer Science or related fields
• Experience in building a team or minimum 10 years working experience including more than 5 years of team/project management and delivery
• Certification such as CPA, PMP, Certified Internal Auditor is an advantage
• Proven track record in managing projects in reputable international consulting firm or MNC
• Strong client-facing skills, experience of business development/business negotiation will be a plus
• Practical experience in risk assurance/IT governance is preferred
• Strong relationship management and leadership skills
• Excellent data analytical and problem solving skills, able to understand complex business problems and recommend both business and technical solutions
• Able to work independently and under pressure
• Well organised and strong attention to details
• Proficiency in written and spoken English as well as Putonghua is essential
