Finance Business Analyst - Banking - Hong Kong

Job Description:-

• You will strengthen the existing Business Analyst / Regulatory Reporting IT Team in the Finance IT function.
• Your key stakeholders will be the Project Managers, Finance business users and IT development & testing team both regionally and globally.
• You will assist in the functional design of the system solution. Liaise with development teams to deliver and implement system solutions.
• You will work closely with project team members to define testing strategy, testing setup as well as governing the testing quality.

Skills Required:-

• Working knowledge of Regulatory/Financial Reporting and their application to Investment Banking business.
• Experience in capturing, analyzing and documenting functional & non-functional requirements (>5 years)
• In-depth understanding of Financial Control and Regulatory processes and workflow within Investment Banking business
• Very Strong knowledge of vanilla & derivative financial products across interest rate, fx, credit and equity businesses
• Experience working within large / strategic / global programmes with global engagement (>5 years)
• Experience in defining, leading & coordinating testing for software development / implementation
• Experience with Oracle, Sybase or SQL Server SQL

This role would suit a senior business analyst with knowledge on Regulatory Reporting and Finance, Product Control with Derivatives Product knowledge. Some technical knowledge with SQL querying would be a distinct advantage.
