Responsibilities of a Apprentice accountant:
-Deal with day to day queries for a portfolio of clients- covering cash-flow, accounts treatment, company tax, VAT & PAYE.
-Set up clients on the fixed asset registering, produce weekly accounts statements to show money flow
-Adjust accounts in the event that the payroll needs re-running
-Support the year-end team in the reconciliation of Corporation tax, PAYE, sales ledger and Clearance accounts.
-Direct contact with customers, mainly by email and occasionally by telephone.
