Pay Band and Academic Grade Pay: PB-4: Rs.37,400-67,000 Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 10,500/- per month

Essential Qualification and Relevant Experience: Candidate with very good academic record having Ph. D and a minimum of 10 years' experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor & 1st class in preceding degree.

(Minimum pay in pay band to be fixed at Rs. 48,000/-)

Other Essential requirements:

i) 15 papers in SCI/SSCI journals in career #

ii) Three externally funded projects in career

iii) Contribution to Students Affairs or Laboratory Development

iv) Two Ph. D guided as sole or principal supervisor.

v) Supervising more than three students for Ph.D. / Preparing e-learning material/ strong liaison with industry/ Offering significant support to Institute management /High value projects.

vi) Academic outreach activities equivalent to two self-financed short term courses/equivalent projects.

vii) The above other essential requirements are relaxable for industry / R&D experience.*

Additional Desirable Requirements:

i) Involvement in TEQIP/SAP/FIST/Projects

ii) One or more patents

iii) Starting new PG courses

Prescribed application forms may be downloaded from IIT(ISM) website (http./www.ismdhanbad.ac.in). and submitted with all necessary enclosures including self-attested copies of educational qualifications, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificates (if any) etc. along with a crossed demand draft of Rs. 100/- drawn in favour of ‘Registrar, IIT (ISM), Dhanbad'. The payment of requisite fee can also be made online through the link available on the IIT(ISM) website and the receipt generated should be attached with the application form.
