About the opportunity
The Customer Retention Group Team Manager is responsible for managing leadership teams within the Growth Channels contact centre, handling inbound and outbound contacts with at risk members and effectively utilising coaching and mentoring skills. The role is responsible for developing and implementing tactical processes and initiatives to reduce cancellations, lapses and arrears.

You will be/have:-
- At least 5+ years proven experience of being an engaging and active leader, with a passion for people across multiple teams
- Extensive experience within the Financial Services and / or Insurance in Call Centre Management
- Prior success achieving strategic business targets and objectives
- Ability to convey and explain information, coherently and confidently both oral and written, with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
- Demonstrated success in service Leadership
- Demonstrated success in the execution of sales, retention and customer relationship management strategies
- Ability to plan, develop and manage performance
- Ability to plan, co-ordinate and delegate multiple deadlines and requirements
- Competence in performance and workflow management of individuals and teams as well as a solid understanding of telephony technology
- Demonstrated experience in coaching others to achieve high standards of performance
- Ability to demonstrate continuous improvement thinking
