Fremantle Ports is entering an exciting period of change and
transformation, as it strives towards its new vision to become
Australia's best maritime gateway through the implementation
of a new five-year business plan.
We are currently seeking an IT Contract Management and Sourcing
Officer to join our ICT Branch located in Fremantle. In conjunction
with the Chief Information Officer (CIO), this role will jointly
source, develop and manage complex IT contracts for hardware,
software and services.
As the IT Contract Management & Sourcing Officer, you will
also manage the day-to-day reporting against Contract service
levels and KPI's to ensure compliance and where necessary
formulate strategies with the CIO to address contract issues with
vendors.
Other responsibilities of this position include:
• Managing and working closely with the Supply Branch to
develop and guide IT projects and “business as usual”
terms with procurement related to all IT goods and services;
• Developing tender documentation and IT procurement
plans & evaluation of contract management reports of all IT
goods and services;
• Ensuring that IT remain compliant with procurement
policy and procedures;
• Working with the Supply Branch to improve Fremantle
Ports' contract benefits and terms either through existing
contracts or new vendor arrangements.
To be successful in this role you will possess a Tertiary
qualification and/or have considerable experience within a relevant
discipline (e.g. Strategic Procurement, Business, Commerce or
Logistics). You will be proficient in developing and managing
complex, high-risk contracts across all domains of IT hardware,
software and professional services.
It is expected that you will be highly competent in negotiating
IT related contractual conditions (e.g. GovNext) and have a
high-level of written communication skills, with the ability to
prepare complex procurement and technical documents.
