Indirect Tax Manager - 6 Month FTC £75,000 - M4 Corridor

This 6 month fixed term indirect tax manager contract is looking for a experienced tax professional to

oversee the implementation of compliant end-to-end VAT process within this multinational IT provider.

A well recognised multinational with over 20,000 employees in over 150 countries worldwide.

Description

• Work with billing to ensure that for EU transactions valid customer VAT numbers are obtained and evidenced

• Work with IT for any IT developments in our tools, support implementation of legal, accounting, tax logic tables as appropriate

• Work with finance and supply chain to improve accuracy of intrastat reporting

• Create guidelines for compliant documentation and controls

• Manage resources that will perform and complete individual review of all transactions and follow up request and documentation collection as necessary

• Manage completion of mitigation process on past transactions (direct and indirect deliveries etc)

• Ensure non-compliant processes are stopped and compliant alternative solutions are identified

• Manage the quality and deliverables of external indirect tax advisors as appropriate

• Represent Indirect Tax team at meetings with auditor/HMRC in a technical support role as requested by Tax / Finance

Profile

• Experienced VAT professional

• Strong communication skills both written & oral

• Autonomous and disciplined working ethic

• Available with maximum 1 months' notice

Job Offer

£60,000 - £75,000 with strong potential for a permanent role
