My client is a US technology business that deliver software solutions, as well as technology services for various sectors in business, education and government. They have recently undergone a large scale integration with a UK business, based in central London and are placing more focus on increasing their global presence. This acquisition has put them in a stronger position to help their customers meet their international needs.

Description

As this commercial Management Accountant, you will have key management accountant responsibilities, supporting the financial controller with month-end, year-end and adhoc projects. You will be involved in:

* Supporting complex areas such as revenue recognition, particularly in advance of upcoming accounting standards change

* Supporting the month-end processes

* Working closely alongside the managing director of each entity

* Ensuring the companies are compliant with group reporting requirements

* Hold ownership for the production of the monthly financial reports, within strict deadlines

* Leading on thorough and detailed assessment of all costs. Including detailed processing and recording of all balance sheet items

* Adhoc projects

Profile

As an ideal candidate for this role you will have:

* ACA/ACCA qualification from a mid tier practise

* Looking for a new long-term role where you can develop your skills

* Be comfortable working with all areas of the business

* A background in working within a business partnering role ideal is advantageous

* Previous exposure producing monthly management accounts

* SOX experience is advantageous

* Demonstrative background working independently

Job Offer

The offer for the successful candidate is:

*£50,000 per anum + benefits
