Product and Customer Data Controller

Our Client, a manufacturing and distribution company with global reach, are looking for a Data controller to join their team. The purpose of the role is to ensure the integrity of data, and promoting its use to create value for the business. The successful candidate will support the marketing and commercial finance teams, and they are required to be data driven, analytical, have excellent problem solving skills, be comfortable working with large data sets and have an affinity for process. Strong excel skills are a must! Key responsibilities: - Ensure customer data records are complete and compliant with requirements - Design and manage new customer set up process with the help of the Purchasing and Commercial teams - Ensure data held and catagorisation for all products is correct and complete and in line with business requirements. - Act on breaches of data integrity and put controls in place to ensure no repeat incidents The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail, be fast paced and possess a strong personality capable of ensuring controls they put in place are maintained by staff outside of their immediate team. Our client is eager to grow the successful candidate within the company and help them build a successful career. This role is initially being offered as a 1 year FTC, with strong view to permanancy after this term.
