General Ledger Accountant - US Multinational

GENERAL LEDGER ACCOUNTANT - Nearly Qualified or Audit Background - Salary to €60k plus extensive benefits package - Dublin South My client, aUSmulti-national, is urgently recruiting for a nearly qualified General Ledger Accountant with 2 years experience in IFRS and US GAAP to join their growing finance team. You will be tasked with providing assistance to the Finance Manager in external and internal reporting, have ownership for the General Ledger, monthly financial analysis and management accountancy working across the EMEA business units, ensuring compliance with internal SOX processes To be successful in this position, you have a strong background in US GAAP for internal management reporting and local / IFRS GAAP for external and statutory reporting, have gained experience within a multi-national environment, understand the tax principles of dealing with multiple legal entities, have a good working knowledge of internal control processes and corporate governance and be determined to succeed within a growing finance team and progress your career within a multi-national and matrixed environment. You will have gained exposure within an auditing firm, specifically dealing with IFRS reporting and US GAAP and be nearly qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA This role requires strong financial analysis and communication skills with a proven track record of successfully delivering results, excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
