In this role

You will share responsibility with the Corporate Finance team for month end intercompany transactions, reconciliations and reporting and the annual financial statements.

Key accountabilities will include

  • Completion of the month-end close process for intercompany transactions, including recharges, confirmation of balances and reconciliations.
  • Prepare on a monthly basis the global reconciliation of intercompany balances.
  • Preparing monthly journal entities and general ledger reconciliations on a timely basis.
  • Assist with month end accounting entries for foreign subsidiaries.
  • Prepare year end revenue cut off testing.
  • Assist with preparation of consolidated and subsidiary financial statements, including the preparation of supporting documentation for external audit.
  • Preparation of ABS Survey's.
  • Work with IT to ensure intercompany transactions are accounted for accurately.
Other accountabilities include

  • Other financial accounting tasks as required.
The essential knowledge & skills are

Functional

  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient in JDE or similar ERP
  • Experience in One Source account preparation software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Behavioural

  • Understanding of IFRS will be highly regarded
The essential experience is

Minimum 3 years experience in the accounting field preferred.

The essential qualifications are

Completed or in process of completing CA or CPA qualification.
