The company deal with a wide range of products and services including sports marketing, education courses and their own range of consumer products.

Description

Successful candidates will be given duties will include:

• Manage the transnational finance function for companies within the group

• Manage 1 member of team

• Staff development plan

• Plan, organise and co-ordinate the work of the finance function

• Ensure all Purchase ledgers invoices and associated expense claims are entered into the system whilst ensuring correct coding and paid to their terms

• Perform financial system functions including settings, inputting and posting transactions, importing third-party system files, initiating and verifying system processes

• Resolve any queries with invoices or expense claims that may arise

• Ensure all Sales invoices are raised in accordance with production volume or basis of recharge and ensure collection within agreed terms

• Ensure that all bank accounts are reconciled periodically

• Assistance in the month end Balance Sheet reconciliations

• Fixed Assets

• Accruals

• Prepayments

Profile

A successful candidate will have a similar profile to:

• At least 3 years of accounting processes

• Solid all Sales, Purchase ledger and accounting

• At least intermediate hands-on excel skills and Accounting package, Microsoft AX an advantage

• Excellent communication skills to deal effectively with supervision of staff, operations and finance managers

• Able to identify and action productivity and process improvements

• Hard working and Reliable

• Able to understand the business and its trends whilst dealing with the accounting detail
