Job Title: Business Development Specialist, Surgical ENDO

Reports To: Regional Sales Manager, ENDO

Location: 1x Sydney/Brisbane and 1x Melbourne

The position of Sales Development Specialist, Surgical Endoscopy will support the Endoscopy business in driving sales revenue and new business opportunities in the surgical Endoscopy segment.

The Sales Development Specialist will also be an integral part of the Endoscopy Division focusing on driving pre-commercialization and launch activities for the Endo Luminal platform accelerating penetration and market expansion of key existing technologies, coordinating strategic initiatives, and being the primary interface of the top key opinion leaders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new sales opportunities, educates, promotes, and increases awareness of surgical endoscopy technologies.
  • Create a strategic plan to accelerate opportunities within the surgical segment and develop creative strategies to introduce surgical technologies.
  • Drive new segment growth by enabling patient access.
  • Develop and execute monthly and quarterly strategic plans to deliver on annual revenue commitments and build a sustainable business over the longer term.
  • Build and maintain sustainable strategic business relationships in key accounts by training, educating and selling cutting-edge technologies.
  • Build strong relationships with surgeons (ie - Colorectal Surgeon, Minimally Invasive Surgeon, Bariatric Surgeon, Hepaticobiliary Surgeon) performing Flexible Endoscopy as well as Advanced Endoscopists.
  • Develop and maintain constructive, strategic relationships within key accounts at the Physician, Nurse, Technician, Operating Room and Materials Management levels, through frequent and routine customer visits, product demonstrations, product in-services, and procedural observation.
  • Understand the market dynamics of Surgical Endoscopy and a relationship with surgical societies to engage Surgical Endoscopists.
  • Ensure a high level of engagement of current and future KOL's through: enhancing podium presence, advanced training & education, development of proctor programs, engagement at key conferences.
  • Provide a strategic direction to internal stakeholders through a high level of communication and education programs.
  • Successfully complete the Endoscopy training program, apply these skills in the field and maintain a high level of technical and market knowledge on an ongoing basis.
  • Maintain all company assets, including assigned inventory, in good order and in accordance with BSC audit and process requirements.

Experience/Skills

  • 3-5 years relevant business experience, at least 3 years direct Endoscopy or Surgical sales experience required
