The Company

My client is currently looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join a leading Technology organization based in Sydney's CBD. They are a privately owned organization headquartered in the US. The organization have recently expanded their operations and are growing rapidly within the Australian market. They have a great culture full of talented individuals across the business with passion, drive and raw intelligence. Development in this company will occur organically as the business continues to grow however there is a succession plan in place for this role into a leadership role. The culture is dynamic with a great work/life balance and strong work ethics. With a solid management team, the mentoring opportunities are limitless and you will gain a great deal of exposure to a high level of responsibilities across the business.

The Role

This role is an exciting opportunity with great scope for development. The role will be exposed to both the Statutory Reporting as well as the Management Reporting side. The role will begin with managing a small team and will progress into a Financial Controller position in the near future to take over the complete finance function. Your role will include:

• Month end accounting to the assigned G/L accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Looking after the P&L
• Variance analysis and preparation of Board reports
• Management Accounting (Budgets & Forecasts)
• Consolidation of all entities

Your Profile

The ideal profile will ideally have started their career within a Big 4/Mid-tier Chartered firm and have a couple of years' experience working within corporate. An outgoing personality would fit culturally within the business also. In addition you will:

• Be CA qualified
• Have a great attitude and work ethic
• Be eager and keen to learn new skills
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Have a high attention to detail
