Investment and Finance Director

Our client is a private investment group which has invested globally in public and private equity across a range of industries.

Description

* Multi-faceted role, leading efforts in performance metrics and reporting, treasury and capital allocation

* Advise on capital allocation and lead capital discipline across the business, particularly with our private operating companies (e.g., reallocating dividends paid to the parent, or evaluating competing M&A opportunities)

* Lead consolidated financial and investment reporting for our operating companies and Group overall, across both public and private market investments

* Produce quarterly performance packs for our capital markets and private markets business groups

* Assist operating companies on strategy, business plans, priorities, branding and alignment with standards

* Oversight of an FP&A analyst, and working closely with Financial Controller and junior accounting team

* Work closely with Group Chairman, operating companies, and the investment teams

* Provide senior leadership and general management as one of the heads of the Singapore office

Profile

* Be a Chartered Accountant with leadership experience at a Big 4 firm, or have experience within an elite private equity group in a similar role

* Exceptional relational skills, able to represent the company well when interacting with operating companies or other external parties

* Passion for financial markets and investment

* International business background, able to work easily across cultures and geographies

* Good communication skills and be very well spoken

* Polished and professional appearance

* Ability to work at speed, and multi-task

* Positive attitude, be an "energizer"

* Meticulous attention to detail
