An important leadership role is currently available for an experienced and suitably qualified person to join our dedicated team in Darwin.

About the role
This important leadership role will be responsible for the implementation and delivery of programs, within the Darwin and Katherine area, which provide quality services to clients. This role will also include the management of programs, managing operational budgets, staff management and customer relationships.
This role has become available due to an internal move, and will be offered on a full time, permanent basis for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage programs that are compliant with legislation and contract requirements
  • Manage Business within approved budget
  • Develop and maintain local operational and administrative systems and procedures
  • Ensure a consistent standard of quality throughout services
  • Develop, motivate and lead a team
  • Manage risk and issues arising in the course of service management
  • Contribute to the growth and diversification of Life Without Barriers business units
Skills & Experience
  • Experience in the management of programs and services for vulnerable people
  • Degree qualification in Human Services or related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership and management
  • Ability to manage risks and contentious matters
  • Experience managing budgets
  • Current Driver Licence
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
