THE ROLE

The Finance Manager sits in the company's head office and reports into the General Manager of Finance. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing consolidation, management & statutory reporting, commercial assessments and reporting to Joint Venture partners and senior management.
• Variance analysis, receivables analysis, balance sheet reconciliation for General Manager Finance review.
• Active involvement in development projects in respect of cash flow forecasts and funding, debt compliance & managing ongoing project costs against business plans & forecasts.
• Active involvement in JDE & SAP system implementation.
• Providing commercial support to project team, partnering with other finance team and liaising with banks, quantity surveyors and internal & external auditors.

A SUITABLE CANDIDATE?

You will be CA qualified with successful team management experience and effective decision making ability. You will be from a Big 4 background or have excellent all round technical skills. You will be a strong verbal and written communicator. You are someone that has excellent stakeholder management and is comfortable liaising with all levels of the business and individuals of varying financial knowledge. You will have advanced excel skills and have a hands-on approach to get involved in all levels of finance when required. Team management is NOT essential for this role, but you must have demonstrated experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholders. Experience in the property, construction or engineering industry is preferable for this position.
