PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR
WORCESTERSHIRE - FULL TIME - Ref - JO0000012687
ROLE
Accountancy Elite are representing a fantastic within the Worcestershire area, who are currently looking to source strong candidates for a Payroll position that has arisen. The firm operate throughout the Midlands area, offering clients a range of services such as Accounts, Audit, Bookkeeping & Payroll.
Responsibilities:-
*To accurately calculate and process payroll based on clients specific requirements
*Complete payroll on both a weekly, 4 weekly & monthly basis for clients
*To fully test any changes to the system which affects the calculation of the payroll
*Responsible for start to finish payroll for around 90 clients
*Responsible for uploading of pensions to client providers including NEST, Legal & General
*To provide client with all required reports adhering to deadlines
*Ensure payroll has an up to date guidance on each clients' requirements
*Provide advice and guidance to clients on all aspects of PAYE
*Deal with all payroll queries in a timely manner
*Maintain accurate recording systems
*Keep up to date with changes in payroll related legislation
What you will need to succeed:-
*A minimum of 3 years' experience within payroll preferably with a client based service provider
*In depth knowledge of 'good practice' payroll processing and procedures
*Be up to date with current PAYE legislation and have an understanding of Auto Enrolment pensions and salary sacrifice schemes coupled with the ability to efficiently use payroll software
*Good numeration and communication skills
*Be able to work under pressure
*Be proficient in the use of Sage 50 payroll, MS Excel and Word
*Be flexible in your approach to your work
