We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our team based in Coatbridge, Scotland for an initial 3 Month Contract, with the possibility of a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

  • Producing timely monthly management accounts with emphasis on P&L reporting and WIP valuation.
  • Development of management reporting - building a model to allocate costs at a contract level.
  • Preparation of budgets and forecasts (yearly, quarterly and rolling)
  • Commercial Analysis ? producing and analysing MI including operational KPIs. Reporting to business managers to interpret and utilise MI to drive efficiencies and profitability.
  • Producing, analysing and interpreting financial information to assist with strategic decision-making process, liaising with business managers to discuss variances and provide support where required.

Candidates will hold either, ACCA, CA, CIMA (or equivalent) and will have proven management accounting experience gained in industry or practice with advanced Excel skills to include experience of business modelling. The successful candidate will have experience of manipulating large volumes of date coupled outstanding attention to detail and the ability to prepare accurate outputs. Well organised and capable of prioritising tasks to meet deadlines, you will have the ability to build relationships remotely with finance and non-finance colleagues. Moreover, we are looking for an inquisitive and tenacious individual who has the drive and passion to succeed.
