Our client, a global organisation with subsidiaries across the globe is looking to recruit a Group Accountant to join their Head Office in Norwich.
Working as part of a central team responsible for analysing and reporting high quality information at Group level, the successful candidate will be tasked with the following duties:
* Review and analysis of subsidiary company accounts including variance analysis
* Inter-company transactions * Preparation of subsidiary VAT returns
* Liaise with internal and external auditor
* Support the monthly consolidation process
* Forecasting and annual budget review
* Monthly reconciliations
* Prepare and review tax tracker report
* Deliver ad hoc project work
The ideal candidate will be a newly qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA), who is able to follow process whilst remaining commercially minded.
