GL Accountant (Technology)

Barden is supporting a multinational technology business to identify a recently qualified accountant, trained through practice or industry, to join the finance team. THE ROLE: Responsible for Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Financial Reports of the business, on a consolidated and subisdiary basis; Liaising with external auditors; Analysis of the financial results; Work closely with finance business partners and those responsible for internal audits with providing financial and accounting support; You will monitor the profitability of each entity and provide relevant corporate units with regular updates. THE PERSON: ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified; Big 4/Top 10/Top 20 training background OR someone who has trained through industry; Knowledge of statutory compliance requirements; Technical knowledge of US GAAP and SOX would be an advantage; Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team; Exposure to Oracle would be an advantage.
