General Ledger Accountant

General Ledger Accountant -  €55,000 - €60,000 Our client are currently seeking to recruit a General Ledger Accountant on a 12 month to commence employment immediately. This candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accounting and reporting of selected General Ledger and related modules are completed. This includes responsibility for ensuring all financial activities and transaction processes are operating effectively and ensuring compliance with internal SOX processes and with local country requirements. Job Responsibilities Supporting the management of the Trial Balance and maintaining Balance Sheet reconciliations and internal monthly reporting Compliance with Internal Control requirements and ensuring all assigned process are SOX compliant ; Managing related Oracle process Prepare audit schedules and resolve audit issues identified by external auditors Banking: Responsible and accountable for Treasury & Banking/ Cash administration processes for 10 countries/entities Responsible for Bank Mandates, Documentation and Administration Responsible for operational cashflow, forecasting and treasury requests Responsible for payments/transfers as provided by various departments Preparation of the Bank Monthly accounts and Bank Reconciliations for "Ireland" entities Manage the EMEA Bank SharePoint Site and implementation of Group Treasury requirements.
