1. Make available daily summary of receipts and payments 2.Prepare bank reconciliation statements, pass bills and vouchers for payment, make ready monthly fund flow and cash flow statements and project all financial activities and analysis 3. Pay and file Service Tax returns, Sales Tax / VA, TDS etc. 4. Liaise with financial institutions and provide necessary information needed for loans etc. 5. Project expenses, projected/ actual and cause corrective actions. 6. Ensure that Fund Flow for various Accounts are prepared for smooth flow of funds, besides ensuring that committed dates of payment of obligatory expenses and committed date of receipts are kept noted and there is no default on either account. 7. Ensure that a proper register of various Assets with their history jotted down carefully for easy identification, including those at the various construction sites. 8. Be broadly conversant with the tax regulations and ensure the accounts are ready for audit in time and audit is commenced and completed swiftly and all returns are filed on time. 9. Create sustainable and seamless accounting system and convert the entire accounting practice in the office & sites to be system based. 10. Arrange a satisfactory system of records and checks and system based paper work at all our construction sites. 11.Attending hearings, cases, handling lawyers, etc. pertaining to Property Tax, Water Tax, VAT, Service Tax, Stamps & Registration, Income Tax, etc.Strong accounting background with ability to communicate accounting concepts in a simple manner. Tally, MS Office and other basic accounting applications for filing TDS etc. Strong English (written, spoken and comprehension) and Computing skills required.
