Management Accountant role in the public sector and government industry. Based in London, this role sees you leading a team, to support the Arm's Length Body of a Central Government Department to deliver it's financial and strategic business objectives.
Client Details
You will be working with an Arms Length Body of a Central Government department, which focuses on security. 2017 has seen numerous security scares across the UK and as such security is a vital part of Central Government policy.
Description
The Management Accountant role will require you to:
- Manage a team of 4 qualified professionals
- Provide financial and management reports in line with statutory and regulatory duties
- Develop policy, reports, procedures and manage data systems across the business areas
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, at executive level
- Ensure work is completed in timely manner and to high standards
Profile
In order to be successfully shortlisted for the Management Accountant role you must:
- Be fully qualified in an accountancy or financial qualification (CCAB, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Have excellent interpersonal skills
- Undergo SC enhanced security clearance
- Be proficient in Microsoft, Word and Excel
- Have experience of analysis of information
- Have experience in providing written / oral advice to senior management
