Senior Financial Analyst

Summary:

With the aim of coping with fast expansion, we are now hiring a Senior Financial Analyst for our Supermarket Division – ParkNShop, Fusion, International and Taste. This person will be a key player to provide recommendation to management via various analysis and projects in relation to new strategic initiatives on CAPEX investment and eCommerce platform.  

Responsibilities:

• Accurate, Timely and Insightful weekly and monthly reporting and analysis highlighting key trends, issues and opportunities.
• Provide financial insights and challenge for Property and eCommerce teams.
• Promotional Analysis - pre and post evaluation of promotions pulling together information from financial and CRM systems.
• Preparation of investment and new business models proposals, highlighting risk and opportunities as and when required.
• In conjunction with the Shared Service Centre ensure that the accounting is robust and that reported numbers have financial integrity.
• Preparation of Business Cases for Capital Expenditure Investment for IT / Retail / Distribution and other functions.
• Preparation of Papers for the Investment Committee.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Finance, Accounting or Business related disciplines 
• Minimum of 3 years of related working experience
• Experience of working in Big 4 with experience in Retail / FMCG / E-commerce is definitely an advantage
• Sensitive to numbers, multi-tasking with a strong analytical mindset
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Excellent command of spoken and written in English and Cantonese
• Proficiency in Excel such as Pivot Table, V-Look Up and PowerPoint
•  Knowledge in VBA and Oracle is definitely an advantage
