Job Title We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant (6-month contract) to work in Galway assisting the Financial Controller for this rapidly growing ambitious early stage organisation. What's important: Ability to work in a fast changing, rapidly growing organisation with the ability to adapt their approach as needed. Self-starter, able to operate under minimal supervision. Excellent organisation skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness of proofreading. The day to day: Management and processing of accounts payable for all legal entities. Supervision of creditor process including monitoring of PO system from approval and matching of delivery dockets and invoices, to sign off. Liaising with vendors and completing creditor reconciliations. Processing customer receipts and monthly journals. Reconciliation of bank accounts, both current and deposit for all legal entities on monthly basis. Supporting the Financial Controller for completion of month end financials. Assisting the Financial Controller with implementation of new ERP system and other finance related projects. Liaising with auditors at year end. Where you've come from: You should have a relevant Degree or significant Accounts experience. or An ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification would be beneficial.
