TRAINEE: Market Performance Analyst

Market Performance Analyst (MPA) is a team located within the Finance Department of SG Group and oversees the Performance Analysis of Market Activities. Our team also covers the function of Chief of Staff (COS) for Global Markets Development (MARK).

This Trainee position is to help us manage the latter part of our function (COS) in coordination with the rest of the team. In his mission, the candidate will also be assigned tasks related to the Performance analysis of MARK (MPA).

Mission

Main Responsibilities:

Within the MPA team, the main responsibilities of the role will be focused on both Performance analysis and MARK governance tasks:

• Communication

- Preparation of Slides for Townhall / Ad Hoc presentation
- Preparation of Packs for Exco / Manco
- Helping for organization / logistics of Events
- Helping to manage Internal Communication within MARK Asia

• Governance

- Maintenance of Floorplan
- Maintenance of Mailing lists for MARK
- Update of Regulatory documentation for Exco & Manco
- Automation of Administrative tasks

• Performance Analysis

- Help on the preparation of Team meetings
- Understand the main drivers of MARK Asia performance
- Participate to some adhoc study / project related to Performance Analysis monitoring

Profile

Your Profile:

• Hold a relevant Bachelor or Masters degree in Banking and Finance, Business Administration or similar
• Good understanding of Financial products especially Derivatives products
• Proficient with Office Excel, Powerpoint, Word
• Basic Knowledge in VBA
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and / or data mining tools such as Access, SQL, or SAS
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact collaboratively with internal partners
• Fluent English is mandatory

This is a fixed term 12 month Trainee contract with Societe Generale. You will form part of the team on a full time basis. In order to apply for the Trainee position please ensure you have completed your qualification and will be available to work full time for the duration of the Trainee contract.
