Financial Accountant

The roles and responsibilities:
• Accurate and timely inputting of supplier invoices to Sage accounting system
• Generating income invoices
• Multi currency banks reconciliations
• Monthly ledger reconciliations and assisting Financial Controller with month-end and year-end processes
• Quarterly VAT returns
• Assisting in monthly payroll process
• Ownership of finance documents management system and processes
• Develop a deep understanding of the rationale for accounting processes and controls.

Person specification:

Essential
• Part-qualified or newly qualified ACA, ACCA or other accountancy qualification
• Degree educated
• Advanced knowledge of Sage
• Intermediate Excel user
• UK nationality or residency

Highly Desirable
• Knowledge of the French / Monegasque accounting system / payroll / VAT

• Accountancy practice background
• Highly numerate
