Accounts Manager

We are ACCA registered firm in the United Kingdom having a back office in Defence Phase II Extension, Karachi, Pakistan.

We are looking to appoint experienced ACCA Qualified Accountant (Manager role) to support Bookkeeping Department mainly for review of work performed by Bookkeeping team to prepare VAT returns, Management Accounts and virtual meeting with Clients.

Candidate must have ACCA qualification with ATX paper passed. Up to 3 years practice experience will be preferred in similar position in Pakistan. He must have excellent communication skills. This job in based in Karachi Office.  

Job Description

The Employee will be engaged to perform the following duties for our clients based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

A brief job description:

• Review of bookkeeping and accounting work done by our bookkeeping staff in Karachi office
• Review of working for Quarterly Value Added Tax Return (VAT) for submission to Federal Tax Authority (FTA) in UAE
• Submission of VAT returns on FTA portal
• Detailed review of monthly/quarterly management accounts for UAE clients
• Advising client for transformation to digital accounting function and suggesting integration of support accounting Apps with General Ledger System
• Communication with clients for resolving day to day matters and arranging virtual meeting to explain the monthly/quarterly reports
• Preparation of yearend accounts under IFRS.
• Liaise with Partner based in Dubai office
• Communication with FTA.

The Employee will, however, be expected to carry out any other reasonable duties in line with his responsibilities to assist in the smooth running of the business.
