Junior Accountant - Part time

Reporting to CEO

Overall scope of role

To provide support for CTC's own accounting, undertaking basic bookkeeping tasks to maintain order in the clients’ finances. The position is a part-time position of 16 hours per week.

Functional Responsibilities

1.CTC's bookkeeping

  • Update account receivable and payable
  • Perform reconciliations
  • Managing Deferred revenues & Accruals & recurring entries
  • Preparing month end entries and monthly reporting
     

2.New clients

  • Prepare the first invoices for new clients
  • Updating clients’ information up to date, working closely with Admin

Educational Qualifications: Accounting Diploma

Number of years of experience: 1-2

Technical Qualifications

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, in particular Outlook, Excel and Word Knowledge of ZohoBooks is a plus Excellent knowledge of IFRS required.

Skills & Abilities

Proactive, able to learn with support and by themself, fast learner

Other Requirements

Very organized, motivated, energetic, happy personality, not shy and able to speak to a diverse workforce

Language: Excellent spoken and written English
