Internal Auditor
Division: Office of the Managing Director
Reports To: Manager Internal Audit
Position Scope:
The Internal Auditor assist the Manager, Internal Audit in the execution of audit plans and programmes, conducting field audits to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and accountability of management policies, practices and control.
Key Duties And Responsibilities:
* Ø Carries out independent and objective risk based reviews to monitor the operations of TTPost in respect to management policies, practices and controls
* Ø Undertakes audits of all areas of TTPost covering financial, compliance, operational, value for money, performance, strategic and policy audits
* Ø Ensures that all audits are undertaken in line with what is "best practice"
* Ø Analyses business processes, procedures and activities with the goal of highlighting organizational problems and recommending solutions
* Ø Assesses compliance with the Corporation's policies and procedures
* Ø Prepares internal audit reports for Manager's approval, signature and distribution
* Ø Adheres to health, safety and environmental rules, regulations and guidelines
* Ø Performs other related duties that may be required by the job function
Education:
* A first degree in Accounting or a related field
OR
* Completed ACCA/CIA/CISA
* Ø Auditing methodology and knowledge of financial systems and the standards and conventions in relation to to auditing and risk management
Experience:
* A minimum of two (2) years auditing experience
* IT systems auditing would be an asset
