With the regional hub shifting to be based here in Singapore, this is a newly created and individual contributing Internal Audit role supporting the APAC market, reporting into the General Manager.
You will be responsible for running the Internal Audit function for all APAC subsidiaries - ensuring completion of audit projects, supporting the development & implementation of governance framework, conducting risk assessments and provide necessary reporting to the APAC management team. A small portion of the role will go into supporting the appropriate regulatory fillings and ensuring registers are maintained.
There is a travelling component of twice per quarter to any APAC countries.
skills and experience required
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy/Law or its equivalent and come with 5 years of experience in an Internal Auditor capacity, prior experience in big 4 audit firms and candidates with relevant certifications (CIA/CA/CCEP) are advantageous. You should be an adaptable and independent individual who has an aptitude for learning, you should also have good communication skills when managing internal stakeholders.
