The Opportunity

For our Abbott Nutrition Division ANI we are currently looking for a Financial Analyst to join our great team in Israel. The position will report to the Senior Finance Manager. This will be permanent job, based in our office in Tel-Aviv.

What You'll do:

  • Coordinate performance planning and analysis including the submission of budget for sales, product costs and expenses.
  • Coordinate the Plan, LBEs and 5-years Strategic planning process (LTP), participate in internal reviews, reviewing schedules for submission to headquarters, preparing necessary supplementary worksheets / information as required to support planning assumptions.
  • Monitor and analyze expenses vs. budget by cost center and present relevant reports and analysis to brand managers and nutrition management.
  • Create systemic reporting processes. 
  • Responsible for submission and approval of P&L / Balance Sheet Reporting every month close.
  • Ensure timely reporting and provide actual monthly financial data in compliance with Local law and Abbott standards.
  • Customer pricing - ongoing communication with distributor on price changes/new prices. 
  • Daily/monthly monitoring of customers price lists accuracy in distributor system (price control) including customers bonuses/price differences calculations.
  • Monitor and manage credit (commitment) balances with distributor to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance including the review and approval of credit requests.
  • Monitor and maintain the affiliate’s internal control procedures to ensure that local business practices are in line with Abbott’s corporate and local policies and procedures.
  • Give regular feedback to direct supervisor about actual status, make suggestions and take adequate actions to solve any issues or problems.
  • Collaborating with the CFS team during the month-end closing process.

Required qualifications & background:

  • Academic degree in Economics or Accounting.
  • At least 3-4 years of experience in financial planning.
  • Experience in multinational, corporate environment is preferred.
  • Excellent analytics skills - delve into details without losing sight of the overall picture.
  • Experience with ERP systems & Microsoft Office, strong proficiency in Excel and BI.
  • Punctual, able to meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively - strong time management.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken - with the ability to prepare and present financial presentations in English.
  • Team-player, with strong communication skills and agile personality.
  • Highly detail-oriented.
