The Role

KPMG in Malta is seeking to recruit a candidate at Assistant Manager/Manager level to join our extensive global mobility services team.

The global mobility service team supports local and worldwide companies which authorise KPMG in Malta to assist their CEO’s / directors/employees with any advisory engagement or compliance obligation pertaining to the individuals’ personal tax situation/commitments in Malta.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advice and assistance to a wide spectrum of taxpayers in respect of the various personal tax compliance commitments as per statutory laws;
  • Prepare and review documents in connection with diverse personal tax compliance obligations;
  • Prepare and review tax equalisations;
  • Prepare advice requested by clients to be reviewed by the engagement lead;
  • Assist with overseeing, managing, and coordinating a dynamic team of individuals;
  • Assist with management of the client portfolio including the maintaining of specific global systems pertaining to the services provided.

Requirements and Attributes

  • Relevant work experience in a similar role and/or academic qualifications in global mobility tax law;
  • Team player and good people skills;
  • Detail-oriented and takes initiative;
  • Comfortable with numerical calculations;
  • Good writing skills in English and communication in general.
