Payroll Specialist (EMEA)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure payroll accuracy by effective administration of the payroll process and relationship with the payroll supplier;
  • Execute and support end-to-end payroll processing in close collaboration with the internal customer and payroll stakeholders;
  • Manage payroll month-end close process, prepare payroll reports, and ensure smooth payroll authorization;
  • Maintain close contact with internal and external auditors to ensure the payroll calculations;
  • Ensure accuracy of data and salary calculations (e.g. vacation days, sick days, other paid etc.);
  • Respond to reference requests for current and previous employees and maintain files and documents physically or electronically as per the local legislation requirements;
  • Share feedback with HR lead, and regional/global contacts to continuously improve processes linked to payroll

Why You?

Necessary Qualifications & Skills:

  • Min. 3 years of experience in payroll
  • Fluent English
  • Practical knowledge of payroll and experience of collaboration with a payroll vendor
  • Good knowledge and practice in using MS Office
  • Ability to perform the tasks in compliance with existing procedures, strong internal customer focus, excellent communication skills as well as proactiveness;

Preferred Qualifications & Skills (but not a must):

  • Great language skills and/or knowledge of Dutch, Czech, Norwegian, or Swedish market and payroll processes - a plus
  • Sense of ownership of assigned tasks;
  • Excellent organization, accuracy, team spirit, attention to details
