This Financial Controller position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team within the Accounting & Finance department of a large FMCG business based in Stoke. The role requires excellent financial acumen, leadership skills and a keen eye for detail.

My client are one of the North West's fastest growing businesses, projected to triple their growth in the next few years. Market leaders in the FMCG industry, they seek an experienced Financial Controller to join their dynamic finance team.
Description
- Oversee month end, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, audit process and external personnel.
- Contribute to financial strategy and decision-making process, budget analysis and inter-departmental support.
- Provide timely and accurate financial statements, analyse reports and provide recommendations.
- Ensure robust financial systems and processes are in place and optimised.
- Responsible for credit management and developing forecasting models.
- Collaborate with management on development and execution of funding strategies.
- Provide strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance and new business opportunities.
Profile
A successful Financial Controller should have:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Experience as a FC in a pan-European structure.
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis, forecasting and planning.
- Strong IT and people-management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Job Offer
- Up to £70,00 salary, dependent on experience.
