Description
- Lead the Group's finance function, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning, ensuring compliance with SGX listing rules and statutory financial reporting standards.
- Partner with the Chief Executive Officer to develop, implement, and monitor business strategies that drive long-term growth. Provide financial support and insights to the CEO and Board to facilitate critical business decisions.
- Oversee financial systems, manage taxation affairs, and ensure effective treasury controls, including cash flow management, banking, and borrowing arrangements.
- Manage relationships with external auditors and ensure full compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and SGX listing requirements.
- Lead M&A activities, including deal evaluation, structuring, risk management, and financial analysis.
- Provide financial analysis, margin and pricing insights, and strategic financial recommendations to guide investment decisions and respond to market changes.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop future finance leaders within the organization.
- Ensure the company's financial systems are efficient and effective, and drive the development of financial acumen across the region through active engagement in financial and operational reporting.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree or professional certifications like CPA or CA will be beneficial)
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with 10+ years in senior financial management roles (experience with SGX-listed companies is highly desirable)
- Proven track record in business and finance transformation
- Advanced financial modeling skills and strong expertise in finance systems (e.g., Excel and financial reporting software)
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff at all levels
- Exceptional decision-making skills, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Metrics-driven, results-oriented, with strong time management skills
- High integrity, ethics, and professionalism, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and collaborate with senior leadership to achieve company financial goals
- Extensive experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), including deal evaluation, structuring, and financial analysis to drive business growth and strategic objectives.
