My client is a renowned lifestyle products retailer with excellent business performance worldwide. With their key suppliers across Asia and the Middle Eastern area, they have their sourcing office in HK and is housing more than 300 staffs.

To support their operations, they are now looking for an Accounting Manager with a strong background in trading and or sourcing industries.



about the role

Reporting to the Senior Finance Director and the CFO, you will be the key person in the team to be responsible for their accounting and financial reporting initiatives. Leading a sizeable team of 10, you will be managing them on the full cycle daily accounting duties, accounts payables and receivables. On top of reviewing the work by your team to ensure accuracy, you will be responsible for the closing, preparation of the financial reporting package, budget and forecast. Also, you will also be the key contact from the team and supporting the annual audit.



skills and experience required

• 7+ years of accounting and finance experience, ideally from MNCs in the sourcing, retail, trading / distribution industries
• Driven, responsible and a capable team leader
• A person with good business acumen and ability to work closely with senior management and business stakeholders
• Fluency in English and Chinese
• Candidates who had prior experience in Big 4 audit will be advantageous
• Professional Accounting Qualifications holder
• Degree holder in relevant disciplines
