Why this role is important to us:
The team you will be joining is Account and Market Opening team, it is part of the global Business Onboarding and Transition (BoaT) team. A&MO provides supports clients on the new fund and market opening processes as well as all kinds of maintenance in relation to client accounts (amendment, closures, etc.) and support the market initiatives such as sub custodian conversions.
What you will be responsible for:
The team you will be joining is Account and Market Opening team, it is part of the global Business Onboarding and Transition (BoaT) team. A&MO provides supports clients on the new fund and market opening processes as well as all kinds of maintenance in relation to client accounts (amendment, closures, etc.) and support the market initiatives such as sub custodian conversions.
What you will be responsible for:
- It is a client facing role.
- As an Officer, you’re responsible for leading the fund and market requests and inquiries for one or multiple APAC regions, including Australia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Korea, China and Japan.
- Communicate directly with Clients or Client Service teams in relation to the fund/market requests.
- Provide guidance to Client/Client Service teams on the fund/market opening processes, assist with detailed explanations on how to fulfill the internal forms as well as local market required documentations.
- Manage the requests for APAC via Collaborate, ensuring requests are being taken action timely and requests are completed within SLAs.
- Ensure the responsible regions’ inquiries through IMT are timely resolved.
- Escalate issues / incidents as necessary and ensures team management is informed of any existing or potential client issues.
- Participate in new client onboarding project by leading the conversations and processes on new fund/market openings.
- Drive technology driven initiatives such as Appian enhancements as well as implementation to the regional client base to achieve a more transparent and efficient account opening process.
- Monitor and provide guidance to new/junior team members with training and day-to-day coaching to help build up the team skillsets.
- Adhere to corporate policies, guidelines,and risk and compliance programs.
- Bachelor and above
- 5+ years of job related/industry experience in financial services
- Strong communication skills, oral and written
- Good at Office software
- Knowledge on MCH and market is preferable
