Accountant

Role and Responsibilities

• Responsible for complete day-to-day accounting of the organization
• Reporting to the management – Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly
• Sales Accounting/Revenue Recognition of businesses
• Employee Accounting other than Payroll – Advances, Deduction, full & final settlement & reconciliation
• Vouch for process improvement and automation ideas to improve efficiencies in bookkeeping
• Coordinate and execute financial transactions and activities, such as bill payment, invoicing, payroll, etc.
• Assist in the audit process by providing information and data
• Preparation & finalization of VAT returns
• Assisting in preparation of financial reports and management reports to executives
• Support in creating monthly forecasts and yearly budgets for specific departments, projects, and business needs.
• Driving & tracking cost control initiatives
• Analyze financial information for trends and errors
• Follow up actively on receivables
• Manage cash flows of the business
• Other tasks as assigned

• Good exposure to implement best practices financial controls and business processes

• Excellent inter-personal skills
• Familiarity with SAP Excellent knowledge of Excel & MS Office programs

QUALIFICATIONS

• More than 3 years of general accounting experience either in a start up firm, listed Group or as an external auditor Bachelor’s / Masters degree in accounting, finance, math, business administration, or a related field.

Additional Notes

• Manage tasks and projects independently
• May be required to work extended hours during month end/ quarter & year end/ audits and other peak times
• Experience in beauty & service industry is preferred.
