Job Purpose:

An Accountant is responsible for practicing their accounting knowledge and skills in a professional setting. Their duties include supporting accounting teams with various accounting projects and tasks as they gain more confidence within their desired industry. We are seeking to attract skilled individuals to join our team. The objective of this job vacancy is to delegate responsibilities to our Pakistan Office. As we continue to expand, it is essential to acquire additional resources to effectively manage our operations.

Job Description:

  • Monitor any discrepancies in payment, monitor for charges made on credit cards, and record any returns and as well as ALAAN Cards.
  • Organize a financial filing system that is easily accessible.
  • Prepare accounting reports to be presented to senior management.
  • Track all payments made for tax preparation and follow up on returns.
  • Speak to clients about payments, refunds, and statements too.
  • Ensure that all clients receive their statements of accounts on time.
  • Ensure accuracy of financial statements, making sure that the final figures on statements are correct.
  • Assisting in reconciling inter-company balances.
  • Assisting in bank reconciliation daily.
  • Assisting in reconciling different ledger balances.
  • Check all vendor's requirements in NetSuite.
  • Help in month-end closing.
  • Help in the internal audit department to function properly.
  • Recording fines and fines recovery, making customer agreement audits, and reporting on a timely basis.
  • Track record of Salik Transactions in all Rental fleets, ensure accuracy and recovery of Salik.
  • Family accounts management and reporting on a timely basis.
  • Coordinating with other departments and collecting financial data for recording and reporting.

Skills:

  • Satisfactory completion of introductory accounting courses and a basic understanding of accounting and financial principles.
  • Aptitude for accounting, and proficiency with computers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
  • Motivation and a strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible.

Education & Experience Required:

  • 2-4 years
  • ACCA Affiliates / Fresh ACCA Members are eligible to apply
