About Us
AIT Specialists (AITS), a subsidiary of Perks Accountants & Wealth Advisers, is an Adelaide-based consultancy firm specialising in fuel tax credits. AITS is dedicated to helping clients maximise their fuel tax credits. Our specialised team meticulously analyse financial records and fuel usage data to uncover opportunities for a client base that spans across various industries, including mining, industrial, farming, and government. Join AITS and contribute to a team that delivers significant financial benefits to its clients.

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated professional to help our clients realise substantial fuel tax benefits while playing an integral role in our growing team. Reporting to the Client Services Director, you will work closely with clients to uncover opportunities that deliver measurable benefits to their business outcomes.

In addition to providing exceptional service, you will support a small team through workflow management and mentorship. This role combines analytical expertise, leadership, and the ability to foster long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build trusted partnerships with clients and colleagues
  • Review client financial and fuel usage data to identify tax savings
  • Lead and support a small team, managing daily workflows effectively
  • Respond to client queries with clarity and professionalism
  • Deliver tailored reports and recommendations
  • Research and interpret tax legislation to maximise client benefits
Skills and Experience
We're looking for someone with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for helping clients succeed. While prior industry experience is advantageous, it's not essential-your skills, attitude, and drive are what matter most.

To excel in this role, you'll need:
  • Relevant experience in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Bookkeeping, or Administration
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to guide and support team members
  • Excellent organisational skills to balance deadlines and priorities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • A professional approach and commitment to maintaining high standards
Culture and Benefits
We pride ourselves on our high-performance culture whilst maintaining a healthy work-life balance. If you'd like to work in an environment that fosters strong relationships, values teamwork and nurtures the capabilities and potential of our team members, you'll feel right at home within the Perks Group.

Some of the benefits include:
  • An industry competitive salary package with annual review process
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Training and development opportunities
  • Regular social & networking events
  • Convenient CBD location, close to shops and cafes
