Your key responsibilities as the European VAT Manager
The key responsibilities include managing VAT compliance and planning across multiple European jurisdictions, providing strategic VAT advice on business initiatives, and handling VAT audits and disputes. You will also collaborate with internal stakeholders on transaction structuring and product launches, stay current with VAT legislation, prepare and review VAT returns for accuracy, and develop VAT policies to enhance tax efficiency.

Requirements
To qualify for the role of European VAT Manager, candidates should have at least 7 years of VAT experience, ideally within both industry and a Big 4 firm. You must possess extensive knowledge of European VAT regulations and compliance, along with proven ability in VAT planning and advisory. A professional tax qualification or relevant Law degree is preferred.
