We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Fund/Client Accounting II to join our Hedge Fund Accounting team in Alternative Operations. This role is located in Wrocław, Poland – Hybrid.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Review client accounting books and records
  • Supervise and assist fund accountants in the completion of their daily tasks.
  • Provide accounting services for assigned clients and funds, including net asset value (NAV) calculation, reconciliations, expense allocations, reporting and NAV review functions.
  • Liaise with and respond to client and third party requests or queries ensuring these are handled appropriately.
  • Proactively identify, analyze, validate and correct exceptions, reconciliation items and issues affecting the NAV.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members and assist with the continued development of the team
  • Implement efficient processes and drive improvements in the operating model
  • Build effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in fields like Fund Accounting, Accounting, Transfer Agency, Financial Reporting, Pricing, Reconciliation, Corporate Actions or Audit
  • Knowledge of financial instruments & markets
  • Communicative English (min B2)
  • Desire to gain knowledge and develop skills
  • Attention to details
  • Good command of MS Excel
