Designation: Assistant Manager - Accounting & Finance.
Location: Orion City, Colombo.
Shift: 9.00 AM to 6.00 PM (UK Calendar)
Requirements
- Strong Accounting Skills & Month End Finalization Skills.
- Completed a relevant degree program or a professional qualification in Finance/Accounting.
- 6+ years of relevant work experience and familiarity with UK Accounting Standards (IFRS, FRS 102(1a) and FRS105.
- Good knowledge and experience in MS Excel.
- Exposure to an ERP system (IRIS Software exposure will be an added advantage)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, Leadership, and Interpersonal Skills
- Willingness to work for the UK Calendar.
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements, and company tax returns and file them to Companies House and HMRC
- Prepare personal tax returns
- Liaising with the bookkeeping team and advising on the accounting information and year-end journals
- Liaising with senior management to resolve accounting issues
